CAMO

The organization operates with many years of experience for the management of the airworthiness of private aircraft as determined by the European Regulation (EU) 2042/2003.

The primary purpose of the CAMO is to allow aircraft owners to comply with the provisions of the legislation regarding the "Responsibility" of the aircraft owner for its airworthiness.

The above takes the form of the need for the owner/operator to consult the maintenance manuals of the airframe and parts manufacturers, their updates and the continuous monitoring of Airworthiness Directives, Airworthiness Prescriptions, as well as bulletins for airframes, engines, accessories and equipment.

The rule provides that through an agreement it is possible to transfer the responsibility for the airworthiness of your aircraft to a CAMO certified organization. This transfer of responsibility means, in other terms, delegating the regulatory monitoring of everything concerning the aircraft and its components and, moreover, managing their inspection and maintenance deadlines.

This translates into greater security both in correct document keeping and in greater safety in flight.

It will therefore be the responsibility of the CAMO to inform the owner about the upcoming deadlines relating to their aircraft, in order to allow them to plan the work with their trusted maintenance workshop.

CAMO Cantor Air is also authorized to issue ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate).

Our service CAMO will provide for each individual contract as shown in the table:

CAMO contract:

• Verification of applicability and archiving of Airworthiness Directives and Airworthiness Prescriptions issued by the Authorities;

• Verification of applicability and archiving of Technical Bulletins issued by manufacturers;

• Control of Time Limits, through continuous monitoring;

• Issue of Work Orders to EASA PART 145 or PART F companies

• Issuance, control of the approval process and dissemination to the responsible (operators, authorities, maintenance companies) of the following documentation: Maintenance programme; Minimum equipment list (MEL) - where applicable; Technical/operational procedures for the use of the aircraft in special areas (BRNAV, RVSM, etc...).

• Issuance of the airworthiness review certificate;

• Verification of the correct updating status of the technical publications issued by the manufacturers;

• Verification of the applicability of the manufacturers' technical bulletins and of the airworthiness prescriptions issued by the authorities
