Hight Performances Aeroplane
AIM OF THE COURSE
The aim of this course is to train pilots who do not have any turbojet/prop or turbofan experience or for pilots do not have high performance airplane experience.
The course will provide overview of the various items as indicated in the Appendix 10/AMC1 FCL.720.A(b)(2)(i)
It is particular useful and needed to the pilots who has no turbine or high performance airplane background, as it will introduce you to some of the subject matter that you deal with on a daily basis as your career progress
Before admission, an applicant shall have:
- Sufficient knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and English to facilitate an understanding of the theoretical knowledge instruction content of the course. The applicant shall demonstrate his knowledge on the above subjects, to the Head of Training, by writing a pre-entry knowledge test.
- Shall be the holder of a PPL(A) issued in accordance with EASA Part FCL & ICAO Annex 1
- Preferably IR (A) qualified
An applicant for HPA shall be at least 18 years of age, and shall hold a valid Class 2 medical certificate.
The course is developed in a theoretical part only, no practice is requested on this course.
The course will be developed in 35 hours of classroom lessons to provide the applicant with sufficient knowledge of those aspects concerning operations of airplanes operating at high speed and high altitude and relative systems necessary for such type of operations.
The course of theoretical knowledge shall be completed within 1month.
